Red Shoes is a fun and informative network for women who’d love some mutual support in their quest to fulfil their potential.
The purpose of Red Shoes is to provide specific and mutual support for women in their professional lives – whether part of organisations, or running their own businesses. We recognise networking is one proven strategy to help overcome the glass barriers which clearly still exist in Australian business and society.
Our target membership:
We aim to appeal to women based predominantly in the northern and eastern suburbs of Melbourne, whether part of organisations, running their own businesses or employed in or volunteering for community organisations.
Our events – Check Out the Next Event on Our Forthcoming Events Page:
We plan our events to be a mixture of motivation, education and networking. We have lots of ideas, and will also be guided by the needs and requests of members to ensure we are always challenged and excited. We will find guest speakers whose stories inspire and will facilitate connections in the room so everyone feels welcome.
We meet bimonthly at 6pm and for no longer than 3 hours. Events mostly include a guest speaker and discussion, drinks and nibbles, and of course lots of time for networking.
Here’s what some of our participants say about Red Shoes Network events:
“Topic was interesting and generated good table discussions”
” Love the wine, love the venue, love the food, love the discussion” and
” I had another great evening”
